About Me

Ever since my early academic studies I have had a deep interest in the relationship between exercise and the well-being and general health of the individual. Over the last 10 years I have dedicated much time to learning about the strategies that can help create a balanced lifestyle. I am passionate about using this knowledge to enable others to benefit and am a firm advocate of complementary therapies. My work as a Rehabilitation Officer for the Blind has also enabled me to develop effective communication and counselling skills.

I have enjoyed practising reflexology following the completion of my Diploma in 2005 with the International Institute of Reflexology. I provide this service from my home in New Whittington and also on a mobile basis in the Chesterfield and Sheffield area. I can also provide this service to businesses who wish to promote the well-being of their staff. I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists and regularly attend workshops and courses to support my continuing professional development.

I am a fully qualified yoga teacher for both adults and children. Being the mother of two young sons has inspired me to further my skills in working with children and I strongly feel that yoga can be a highly effective tool in the development of a well-balanced, confident individual. Practising yoga regularly can make a very significant contribution to general health and well being. Yoga has also given me an opportunity to open my mind to a more spiritual approach to life and a passion to continue on this path of self-discovery. I love teaching yoga and find great pleasure in helping other people and passing on my knowledge to aid their health and well-being. In addition to my regular evening class I am able to provide classes during working hours for businesses who wish to promote the well-being of their staff. I am a member of the Yoga Alliance and attend regular workshops to aid my professional development.
